N.F.L. Commissioner Roger Goodell was one of the best-paid executives in the country in 2012. “Given the

complexity of his job and reach of it,” said Robert K. Kraft, the Patriots’ owner, “I think he’s worth it.

Goodell’s compensation is on par with some of the nation’s best-paid chief executives but may raise questions about the league’s nonprofit status.

Many years ago Vince Lombardi left GB, to coach the Redskins. Lost thru these many years is why did he leave GB. Lombardi left in essence to Lobby for the NFL in Congress. Partial ownership of the Redskins? Don’t Think So! Was he the best man for the job, as a Lobbiest/Insider you bet! Rodger: @ $40 million+ your no Vince Lombardi. Am I mistaken but almost every week I’m aware of another challenge to your TAX EXEMPT status in Congress? You’re no Lombardi! Haaa! Billy Walik

It seems to me that the 2012 pay-out to Roger Goodell is simply indecent. Indecent is a word that means “grossly unseemly or offensive to morals”. It’s not that Mr. Goodell should not receive $44 millions dollars from the owners of the NFL, it’s why he received that kind of compensation. I believe it is for and is because Roger leads the charge to delay, deny, and stall the further funding for our broken pre-93 football player’s. The most startling fact of his financial package for 2012 was $4 million went into his retirement fund! Truly indecent!
