Is it me or did I just read we basically get no increase? They look like the same numbers as the last CBA – $250 per credited season for 1982 – 1993! Great job, Sam. Wow! Even Upshaw would throw us a $25.00-a-month increase as a bone in the old days on each new negotiated CBA. Looks like that gravy train is off the tracks now.
Great job, De Smith. You were right; once all the details came out. De Smith was vindicated. (Kidding!)

I agree with Burt. Those are the same numbers we’re receiving now. Where is the reported $628 million+ going? So once again the pre-1993 guys are getting the royal shaft and the bad part is we’ve had no say in the matter.
Another excellent job by the NFLPA in taking care of the old guys!!!

RE: Article 57
14 DAYS TO FIND OUT IF I AM IN
I was 4 years vested before 1992, I was on PUP in 1993 (one year’s credit 1993). I am right on the bubble. I sure hope the Legacy Fund works out for me but if it doesn’t, I won’t complain because I was eligible for that Second Career Savings Plan! During most of my career, we didn’t have a Union.
The Player’s Association/newly-established Union is here to stay!
P.S. – I wonder if they’re gonna charge membership dues from the Legacy Fund Recipients?
