We would like to give John Madden some unsolicited advice:

John, when you are on the golf course with the team doctors and coaches in the NFL working on your swing, don&#039;t forget about the Players Inc. scandal.

Remember, you were paid $100,000,000 from EA Sports and over 2,064 retired players with signed GLA (group licensing agreements) were never paid a cent while our images were scrambled and stolen.

When the trial began you slipped away on a two-week vacation (during football season)? Did you have a nice vacation? Where did you go?

Before you take on this new assignment from Roger Goodell, why don&#039;t you address your involvement in Players Inc.?

Do you think it is fair that you were paid $100,000,000 and over 2,064 retired players who were lobbied for fourteen years to sign up for (the marketing program) were never paid one cent?

All we&#039;ve received so far was the vilifying &quot;dog food&quot; reference generated by the late Executive Director of the NFLPA Gene Upshaw. Gene said, &quot;We could have the greatest dog food in the world but if the dogs don&#039;t like it, we can&#039;t sell it.&quot;

Do you agree with Gene Upshaw?

Or, do you agree with the jurors who found Gene&#039;s NFLPA Leadership team to be guilty of such phrases as &quot;malicious and oppressive conduct with evil motive,&quot; and &quot;conduct that was outrageous and grossly fraudulent?&quot; With the exception of Gene, the same smiling faces still make up the NFLPA Leadership.

A federal jury in San Francisco ordered the NFL Players Assn. to pay $28,100,000 in damages to over 2,064 retired players on November 11, 2008 and we still have not been paid one cent!

Finally, are you qualified to take on this new assignment from Commissioner Goodell? What could you possibly know about head injuries?

Regards,
Dave &amp; Heidi Pear</description>
