Dave’s Visit to the Amen Clinic

Oct 5, 2009

Last Thursday, I made the trip down to the Amen Clinic in Newport Beach for my scheduled brain scan. Dr. Kristen Willeumier was there to greet me and helped me to understand the entire process involved with my brain scan. They did some tests on mental acuity and Dr. Amen happened to be at his main clinic between road trips for his current book tour and managed to take some time to meet personally with me as well. The entire experience was easy and relaxed and I was back on a plane heading home to Seattle that evening.

We managed to take a series of pictures throughout the day from my visit. Click on the picture below to go to the Photo Album.

I would strongly encourage ALL retired players to go to the Amen Clinic for their brain scan from Dr. Amen at no cost! This was a very pleasant experience and a real pleasure meeting Dr. Amen and Dr. Willeumier. Please call Dr. Kristen Willeumier at (949) 266-3703 and schedule an appointment. As retired players, we need to know the extent of our NFL injuries in order to pursue justice. If you don’t want to do this for yourself, do this for your family!
