The definition of union means: a. The act of uniting or the state of being united. b. A combination so formed, especially an alliance or confederation of people, parties, or political entities for mutual interest or benefit. Since when have we <strong>EVER</strong> been united in our stance. Men, it's time we take control of our own lives and start cutting the dead weight we've had dragging us down for so long. These people work for <strong>US</strong>, and should be representing <strong>OUR</strong> views. I say cut them all and let's start from scratch. I would rather have a 4th teamer with heart representing us, then some spineless All Pro name who has never worn a jock strap supposedly looking out for our best interests. Let Mary go cry to Daddy, and they can both take a hike. Put some blue-collar headbanger in there to get the job done. We have been way too patient with these people. She was only there because Gene made her and her politically connected family a part of his strategy of "Keeping and paying friends of influence" in order to hold on to power. I could be wrong but according to my research Ms. Moran wasn't even remotely qualified to hold the position that she did. I believe that she completed high school but am pretty sure that she did not complete even Junior or Community College. The level of educational achievement of other women at the NFLPA, both Black and White, was much greater than hers but their family, personal and political connections were somewhat less. They were right to "let her go" and I am going to be pretty upset if they settle up with her by giving her another nickel of <strong>OUR</strong> money. Mary should not be paid any more money when we have Retired Players still suffering and Americans in the constantly growing unemployment lines that we have today. I could be wrong on this point as well but I think that she is already going to be qualified to receive unemployment payments from the government as well. Both the NFLPA and the NFL owe cash money to Retired Players and we <strong>are</strong> going to get it. Mary is just the latest soldier to say, "I was just following orders."
