The Continuing “Benefits Policy” Saga…

Nov 10, 2008

Here are the latest updates from our ongoing inquiry into Dave’s Death Benefit saga (click HERE to read the original story and some more HERE.):

We received a response at the end of October from the Connecticut Commissioner of Insurance directing us to contact the US Dept. of Labor. (As always, click on an image to enlarge it for easier reading.)

Then late last week, we received a response from the Insurance Commissioner in The District of Columbia, advising us that they had forwarded our request for information directly to the Dept. of Labor, Pension & Welfare in Washington DC.

And still no direct reply from AON itself to my original questions as a shareholder to AON CEO, Gregory Case (read the original post link above). It’s always interesting – and fun – to have AON’s corporate counsel mischaracterize my inquiry as “mischaracterization.” Kind of like a childish “I know you are but what am I?” deflection strategy to a grown-up problem. (Sounds a lot like a childish Pee Wee Herman ploy to us.)

Looks like some new letters directly to the Department of Labor are in order this week!
